The Screen Printing Process
Before your garment or item can be screen printed, we will need your design. The design can be as simple as a pencil drawing or you can use clip art images along with any text that you might want to include. The graphic artist will take your ideas and convert it into a computer image.
Once the image is designed and approved by you, a screen will be created from film for each color in the design. This is called a “positive.” When you have approved the design we can begin the printing process. Each color is applied separately and the garment is sent through a heat dryer so that the ink can cure.
